- Dust every 1-2 months with a soft, dry microfiber cloth
- For cleaning, use mild dish soap and warm water on a damp cloth, then dry immediately
- Never use abrasive cleaners, polishes, or harsh chemicals that can damage the lacquer
- Always turn off power before cleaning
Smoked Glass Shade:
Your hand-blown smoked glass shade requires gentle care to maintain its clarity and beauty.
- Dust monthly with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth
- For deeper cleaning, use glass cleaner or equal parts white vinegar and water (spray on cloth, not directly on fixture)
- To remove shade: turn off power, allow bulb to cool 30+ minutes, then carefully detach following installation instructions
- Avoid paper towels on hand-blown glass to prevent micro-scratches
